From the early stages in his career, Alon David had a very strong desire to capture a moment. With each flicker of the lens, with each shutter of the frame, these moments are frozen in time and turned into a tangible treasure. These moments, between friends, between family, between lovers or simply with in the individual are all moments that will not be forgotten. When a moment hits and you realize the world around you holds so much beauty a camera becomes such a valuable possession. This is Israel, through Alon David’s eyes. Simply this is how he sees it. Vendors selling hand made crafts line the streets of ancient buildings while sprawling skylines rest on the coast. From Tel Aviv to Jaffa and in between, this is Israel. Vanishing points and shadows are positioned beautifully to highlight the architecture of the city. Hatachana or The Station is located between Jaffa and Tel Aviv was a new point of exploration for Alon. Here people gathered to browse various art galleries and enjoy the cafes. While in Jaffa the history whispered through alleys and arched corridors and in Tel Aviv growth is glowing with ever-growing skylines that shimmer in the evening. The ocean near by brings a sea breeze to the air and the sun casts brilliance over the sky. Alon David Photography brings all of this to a halt with the camera. Moments like this are easy to miss; moments like this are hard to share. A camera is a valuable tool in the moment. It is a mirror image of what the eye sees; it is a mirror image of what the mind processes and what the heart feels. Simply put this is Israel, through the eyes of Alon David.
The grass is green, the sky is blue and the day is perfect to explore and laugh as a family. The Bernstein Family headed to a farm for a day in the outdoors. There was a cool breeze and mom and dad stood near by, as they watched while their kids ventured. Alon David Photography captures all these wonderful shots on film. The shoot was located in Israel where the Bernstein’s live and grow together. Smiles, shadows and gazes are all brought to stand still as the camera lens clicks away. The small dog, the big cows and expansive fields all create this day at the farm. Haystacks that form walls and farm equipment certainly provide a point of interest for adventurous young minds in the Bernstein family. A horizon that expands the globe is something Baby Meshi is quickly learning about. At 2 years old she is eager to learn about the green in the grass and the blue in the sky. She feels the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. Mom who is from Yemen and Dad who is from Honk Kong are familiar with the expanses of the globe and are eager to watch their daughter grow and thrive in Tel Aviv Yafo. With the horizon ahead of her and Mom and Dad nearby Meshi is all smiles. She plays with her yellow ball, holds her doll and swings between her parents on a fine day in December. Alon David photography lets a variety of lens document this day of joy for the trio and gets dynamic shots. In life certain bonds are formed, and certain experiences are shared. The days become imprinted in our minds. Alon David Photography lets the lens imprint the photos. He and his brother Roe go out to wander the familiar city of Tel Aviv Yafo in Israel. Roe currently resides here and works as a Real Estate agent. Roe enjoys this place where vanishing points and horizons of ocean meet a city booming with history and modernism. In Hebrew Tel Aviv Yafo means Spring Hill and here Roe is confidently in his element. From his subtle smiles, his casual glances and his relaxed stroll his comfort level is clear. The camera catches him in a moment of happiness as the sun shines down and the air is filled with the scents of the ocean. There’s a very special and unique bond between Natalia and Alexia. It’s a bond only they will share and one that will grow over the years to come. On a sunny but breezy day at LA Jolla shores, these two inquisitive little ones dressed in pink sweaters and boots are ready to explore the shores. However their explorations do not stop at the shores they flow beyond the green grass and throughout the blue sky and onward to the horizons. Four-year-old Natalia examines the grass and the water while two year old Alexia looks towards the skies and watches her big sister curiously.
