FACES THE VIDEO
Faces video
From the early stages in his career, Alon David had a very strong desire to capture a moment. With each flicker of the lens, with each shutter of the frame, these moments are frozen in time and turned into a tangible treasure. These moments, between friends, between family, between lovers or simply with in the individual are all moments that will not be forgotten. However, with these treasures Alon David helps bring forward in form of a photograph, they can be shared, sometimes, in less than 1,000 words and sometimes, in more. The video “Faces” highlights Alon’s desire to seize a moment whenever it may arise. The song “Intro” by the XX sets a stunning tone for these dynamic photos that display such strong convictions and such passionate feelings. Simply put this is how he see’s it, through his eyes.

Corey & Jason Wedding
The perfect balance washes over a fairy tale wedding for Jason and Corey. We first saw this balance in their engagement shoot and now we see just how wonderful the fairy tale is unfolding in the wedding. Alon David Photography once again brings this harmonious balance front and center as all of these little touches create Corey and Jason’s beautiful wedding. The bridesmaids wear pink and the groomsmen in blue. The horse drawn and the parasol as well as an emerging sunny sky are just a few of the things that remind us that the balance in life is a beautiful thing. While Corey gets ready for her big moment with her girls, the groomsmen are all toasting to a wonderful occasion for Jason. These two share a beautiful wedding and a perfect balance in life.

Krista & Terence Wedding
We first met this starry-eyed couple on an autumn day in Balboa Park. Alon David Photography now brings us the wedding. Krista and Terence met in San Diego, California and their choice to have their wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado could not have been more perfect. This iconic place was just the right setting for these two to bring their “cosmic enchantment” front and center. The yellow bouquet gleams against a pure white backdrop and a priceless San Diego sunset was a perfect accent for Krista and Terence’s wedding. Their smiles of excitement and of pure bliss are the smiles of this cosmic enchantment, one that is always growing and always soaring through the starry sky.

A day between A couple turned into a series of stunning photos and ALoN seized the moment letting the camera catch it all. YAD Annual Hanukkah Party & Toy Drive – Latkes and Vodkas!
Last night was a very special evening for the Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation of San Diego County. YAD’s Annual “Latkes and Vodkas” Hanukkah Party and Toy Drive was held on Wednesday, December 8 in downtown La Jolla at Barfly. YAD worked in conjunction with the Young Adult Coalition’s “8 Crazy Nights” to top Hanukkah off on a very high note. Thanks go to Barfly for hosting, The Place for the fantastic latkes and sufganiyot, Alon David Photography for so beautifully covering this event, our DJs Morgan and Jorge, and our co-sponsors CJC In the Mix and the San Diego Jewish Journal. In addition, we would like to say a very special thanks to Rabbi Matthew Earne of Temple Beth Am for joining us in lighting the menorah and saying blessings. Finally, this event would not have been possible without the YAD Social Committee and Executive Board. Their tireless efforts were not in vain – THIS EVENING WAS A HUGE SUCCESS WITH 299 ATTENDEES AND OVER 150 TOYS DONATED!

Black & Gold Party
A luxurious night was hosted by three non Profit organizations to celebrate the Jewish festival of Chanukah at Sway Lounge in downtown San Diego. The theme was Black and Gold and everyone got dressed up to celebrate. The event celebrated the eight-day holiday also known as the Festival of Lights.
The holiday symbolizes the miracles that took place thousands of years ago during the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. As time goes by, tradition will continue to be passed on from one generation to the next.
Everyone in attendance had a bright and energetic smile as the night flowed on.
Here Alon David Photography catches these moments as they unfold. These are moments of new friendships and new faces that will undoubtedly stay with everyone for many years to come.
While people posed for the camera, you can see just how candid and comfortable everyone was in such a fantastic environment. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the hors d’oeuvres were laid out in a lovely spread.
This was a phenomenal night out with friends and people who would later become friends through celebrating tradition, the Black and Gold party was an amazing event and everyone shined that night.

Model Shoot
The city life truly brings excitement for a fast paced living. The photo shoot turned out to be a streamlined expression of people living in the city. Imagine how each personality fits in with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The fierce expressions of the models that represent the vigilant attitude become a staple in the metropolitan setting. Also, the night life brings chills and relaxation vibes to the faces of the models. As the city life fits different moods and expressions—the emotions that the photographer captures becomes an expression of the attitude that people portray in the city. Take a glance at the different moods that are complemented by the colors—giving an attitude to the metropolitan lifestyle.

Table for 8
On an autumn night in Carlsbad, San Diego people gathered for a wonderful event called Table of 8.Jody Krampfner of Birthright Israel NEXT initiated this first of many partnerships with Rae Gross of Moshe House OC and JewC who co-sponsored this event. It was a fantastic way to meet new people. It was a simple concept that resulted in wonderful new friendships and conversations. The participants filled out a survey and based on that were paired up at a table of 8. Taking place at 13 different restaurants in Carlsbad people conversed sharing stories, insights and laughs. However the new friends ships did not stop with a group of 8 for after dinner everyone met up at Hennessy’s Tavern to make even more lasting friendships. Alon David Photography brought these interactions to film and it was clear some wonderful stuff was happening that night. Everyone got dolled up, and smiles were plenty. This is a night they will all remember, new insights were gained, and new friendships were made.

ALoN DaviD has worked as the lead designer for a large design build contractor, in San Diego, California, for the last 7 years. The need to publish his designs and create an extensive portfolio turned him to working with various photographers. Unsatisfied with the results, he began to take his own photos to capture his work.
It was through this that ALoN discovered the design of photography and his unique talent behind the camera. What had started as a hobby quickly became an obsession of creativity and influence. ALoN enjoys capturing interior and exterior elements and design. However, his true passion lies in the faces he clicks with the camera. In a single instant a moment or an emotion if forever captured and held timeless.
Simply put, it’s just how he sees it.
Carmen & Brett Wedding
Fate brought these two wonderful souls together. While supporting her cousin Veronica, Carmen never thought she would meet the one she would be walking down the aisle with. As Carmen took her seat, Brett took the seat right next to her. They were strangers only acquainted through a link, his father whom her cousin was giving a speech about. However what blossomed was a bond that would become unbreakable. Their wedding was set against the beautiful backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains in Palm Springs and the air was a warm 117 degrees. However Carmen and Brett looked calm and relaxed as every one prepared for the ceremony. Alon David Photography captured this process with dynamic angels and exceptional moments. Their family and friends watched eagerly as these two became one. Carmen’s son and daughter smiled on as her father walked her down the aisle, just like fate had intended.
