FACES THE VIDEO
Faces video
From the early stages in his career, Alon David had a very strong desire to capture a moment. With each flicker of the lens, with each shutter of the frame, these moments are frozen in time and turned into a tangible treasure. These moments, between friends, between family, between lovers or simply with in the individual are all moments that will not be forgotten. However, with these treasures Alon David helps bring forward in form of a photograph, they can be shared, sometimes, in less than 1,000 words and sometimes, in more. The video “Faces” highlights Alon’s desire to seize a moment whenever it may arise. Shelly Guy Tuviak Kids photo-shoot
When children grow, their curiosity does the same. Their senses become their tools and the minds become the log book for everything they encounter. Shelly is a mother who realizes all of this and knows it is once more time to take her little one out to explore. As he dives right in letting, his senses take in everything Shelly watches gracefully knowing how bright the future is for her child. His curious gaze reflects his thought process as his sense of touch and his sense of sight take over. He runs his hand against the stone wall and peers over the red fence that is just slightly too high for him. While the daylight and the air wash over him, mom smiles at his cautious yet curious gaze. Krista & Terence Wedding
We first met this starry-eyed couple on an autumn day in Balboa Park. Alon David Photography now brings us the wedding. Krista and Terence met in San Diego, California and their choice to have their wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado could not have been more perfect. This iconic place was just the right setting for these two to bring their “cosmic enchantment” front and center. The yellow bouquet gleams against a pure white backdrop and a priceless San Diego sunset was a perfect accent for Krista and Terence’s wedding. Their smiles of excitement and of pure bliss are the smiles of this cosmic enchantment, one that is always growing and always soaring through the starry sky.

Tom Ben-Kiki echoes in front of the camera as she radiates with beauty both inside and out. She is a woman of poise and grace during an intimate moment. Shaked
First we met beautiful Maya, now we meet her son Shaked as he runs through a nearby eggplant field. Maya watches while her son explores a seemingly endless horizon or green. The bond between a mother and son is truly strong and both Maya and Shaked are who keep this bond strong. His long hair flows in the wind and his knit sweater keeps him warm through the breeze. Maya watches him make leaps and bound through the field and it is apparent he is enjoying the steps he is taking. Alon David Photography captures these glimmers that will never fade. Where vanishing points seem to meet, the fish eye lens inverts the horizon lines and Shaked knows his leaps and bounds will take him everywhere he wants to go.

Ariel
A world seen through such stunning eyes, Ariel’s shoot catches her shy but curious gaze. Alon David photography captures her explorations and her discoveries. These memories will become ingrained in her mind and for her parents watching closely over her these are precious moments of their little girl growing up. Baby Meshi
A horizon that expands the globe is something Baby Meshi is quickly learning about. At 2 years old she is eager to learn about the green in the grass and the blue in the sky. She feels the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. Mom who is from Yemen and Dad who is from Honk Kong are familiar with the expanses of the globe and are eager to watch their daughter grow and thrive in Tel Aviv Yafo. With the horizon ahead of her and Mom and Dad nearby Meshi is all smiles. She plays with her yellow ball, holds her doll and swings between her parents on a fine day in December. Alon David photography lets a variety of lens document this day of joy for the trio and gets dynamic shots. The use of the fish eye lens complements Meshi’s playful day, while the focus brings her front and center.

Roe’s Fun Shoot
In life certain bonds are formed, and certain experiences are shared. The days become imprinted in our minds. Alon David Photography lets the lens imprint the photos. He and his brother Roe go out to wander the familiar city of Tel Aviv Yafo in Israel. Roe currently resides here and works as a Real Estate agent. Roe enjoys this place where vanishing points and horizons of ocean meet a city booming with history and modernism. In Hebrew Tel Aviv Yafo means Spring Hill and here Roe is confidently in his element. From his subtle smiles, his casual glances and his relaxed stroll his comfort level is clear. The camera catches him in a moment of happiness as the sun shines down and the air is filled with the scents of the ocean. Roe takes his surroundings in and at this moment as the camera clicks this day is one that will be imprinted into his memories.

YAD Annual Hanukkah Party & Toy Drive – Latkes and Vodkas!
Last night was a very special evening for the Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation of San Diego County. YAD’s Annual “Latkes and Vodkas” Hanukkah Party and Toy Drive was held on Wednesday, December 8 in downtown La Jolla at Barfly. YAD worked in conjunction with the Young Adult Coalition’s “8 Crazy Nights” to top Hanukkah off on a very high note. Thanks go to Barfly for hosting, The Place for the fantastic latkes and sufganiyot, Alon David Photography for so beautifully covering this event, our DJs Morgan and Jorge, and our co-sponsors CJC In the Mix and the San Diego Jewish Journal. In addition, we would like to say a very special thanks to Rabbi Matthew Earne of Temple Beth Am for joining us in lighting the menorah and saying blessings. Finally, this event would not have been possible without the YAD Social Committee and Executive Board. Their tireless efforts were not in vain – THIS EVENING WAS A HUGE SUCCESS WITH 299 ATTENDEES AND OVER 150 TOYS DONATED!

Black & Gold Party
A luxurious night was hosted by three non Profit organizations to celebrate the Jewish festival of Chanukah at Sway Lounge in downtown San Diego. The theme was Black and Gold and everyone got dressed up to celebrate. The event celebrated the eight-day holiday also known as the Festival of Lights.
The holiday symbolizes the miracles that took place thousands of years ago during the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. As time goes by, tradition will continue to be passed on from one generation to the next.
Everyone in attendance had a bright and energetic smile as the night flowed on.
Here Alon David Photography catches these moments as they unfold. These are moments of new friendships and new faces that will undoubtedly stay with everyone for many years to come.
While people posed for the camera, you can see just how candid and comfortable everyone was in such a fantastic environment. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the hors d’oeuvres were laid out in a lovely spread.
This was a phenomenal night out with friends and people who would later become friends through celebrating tradition, the Black and Gold party was an amazing event and everyone shined that night.

Model Shoot
The city life truly brings excitement for a fast paced living. The photo shoot turned out to be a streamlined expression of people living in the city. Imagine how each personality fits in with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The fierce expressions of the models that represent the vigilant attitude become a staple in the metropolitan setting. Also, the night life brings chills and relaxation vibes to the faces of the models. As the city life fits different moods and expressions—the emotions that the photographer captures becomes an expression of the attitude that people portray in the city. On an autumn night in Carlsbad, San Diego people gathered for a wonderful event called Table of 8.Jody Krampfner of Birthright Israel NEXT initiated this first of many partnerships with Rae Gross of Moshe House OC and JewC who co-sponsored this event. It was a fantastic way to meet new people. It was a simple concept that resulted in wonderful new friendships and conversations. The participants filled out a survey and based on that were paired up at a table of 8. Taking place at 13 different restaurants in Carlsbad people conversed sharing stories, insights and laughs. However the new friends ships did not stop with a group of 8 for after dinner everyone met up at Hennessy’s Tavern to make even more lasting friendships. Alon David Photography brought these interactions to film and it was clear some wonderful stuff was happening that night. Everyone got dolled up, and smiles were plenty. This is a night they will all remember, new insights were gained, and new friendships were made.

ALoN DaviD has worked as the lead designer for a large design build contractor, in San Diego, California, for the last 7 years. The need to publish his designs and create an extensive portfolio turned him to working with various photographers. Unsatisfied with the results, he began to take his own photos to capture his work.
It was through this that ALoN discovered the design of photography and his unique talent behind the camera. What had started as a hobby quickly became an obsession of creativity and influence. ALoN enjoys capturing interior and exterior elements and design. However, his true passion lies in the faces he clicks with the camera. In a single instant a moment or an emotion if forever captured and held timeless.
Simply put, it’s just how he sees it.
Alyssa & Joe Engagement
On a sunny day in Mission Beach Alyssa and Joe enjoy their time together at Belmont Park. Joe and Alyssa certainly know how vast the world is. As they look out on the horizon in the park near the bay and on the beach near the boardwalk, they know there are a lot of amazing things to see out there. Home for them is in Las Vegas, NV however these two certainly want their home states to be part of their lives together. Their wedding is planned for Oklahoma where Alyssa is from and their engagement is in San Diego, CA where Joe grew up. Alon David Photography captures these two in the midst of a pure and candid moment. The look in their eyes shows much love and curiosity of what the next glorious phase in their life is brining them.

Just Like My Child Foundation
Passport To Africa was a spectacular benefit event to help raise awareness for the Just Like My Child foundation, whose mission is to help woman and children in Uganda. Just like my Child’s official mission is “to transform humanity by empowering women and children to achieve their full potential through improved Health Care, Education and Microenterprise.” as founder Vivian Glyck sees it. Hand crafted goods and wonderful rhythms and dances brought awareness front and center about this gallant cause. The event hosted by John Assaraf, a true visionary who proudly supports this noble foundation. Alon David Photography captures the finest details, the movements of the dancers and the positive atmosphere of the crowd in creative and dynamic shots. The positive energy reflects the cause, for everyone there that evening knew they were supporting a truly good thing. People gathered, new friends were made, smiles and laughs were shared, and a wonderful night ensued all brought together by a common notion of an unyielding urge to help.
